The adventures of Mommy woman
I love being outside or even better, having the kids outside

Spring came just in time for me. My 7yr old was on mid-Winter break last week and had slept in late and stayed up late all that week. Yesterday was a beautiful day and all the kids were outside playing. Hide-and-go-seek, tag, swings, trampolene, mud, you name it, they were all over it. This allowed me to put them to bed at 9 and actually have them conk out.

There is just something about the Spring air and the prospect of grass greening and flowers blooming. It gives me a boost. Fresh starts are wonderful. Sure, you have to deal with rain and mud for a while but I love the changing of the seasons. I feel like everyone is coming out of hybernation. My neighbor and I even took a 50min walk!

I was getting caught up in some negativity (which you might have noticed if you looked at my last couple of blogs) but the thought of Spring has brightened me up. I decided not to get caught up in negativity. I am going to think Spring! Fresh air for the body and mind. Hope you all are feeling well in body and inspired in mind.

Isn't it wonderful??? My mood always turns around mid- to late-January because I know spring is coming!

Yesterday I went outside in a sweatshirt and spring coat and wasn't cold, and the day before a skirt and a sweater! This weather rocks, even if it is only 40 degrees and if it were fall I'd be bundled in long underwear and mittens and sweatshirt and thick winter jacket. It's beautiful now!!!

I am soooo happy now that I don't have to spend 20 minutes waiting for the car to warm up. It won't move until it hits the right temperature and today, I was out of the driveway like that. Yes, Kole and I have been going for walks, playing outside together more, and she was asleep five seconds after she hit the pillow. Gotta love that.

Feh. Grass and mud my foot. It snowed so bad here that they shut the two major Interstates down about 10 miles from my house. Someone come and take this blasted winter weather AWAY!

Mr_Frog, I feel for you. Where are you? I saw some reports of storms in S Dakota. Looked awful. I am in MI. Used to live in the very northern part of the Lower Penninsula where winters are pretty bad. I'm in the southern part now so winters haven't been bad at all.

Hope Spring is on its way to you as we speak! Best wishes.
