The adventures of Mommy woman
Dos and Don'ts
Published on March 1, 2004 By JillUser In Blogging
I Personally find Sir Pete amusing at times but if a woman takes him seriously at all, they tend to get perturbed. Here is a guide to help:

Do:
Read Sir Pete's stuff if you don't take him seriously and are in it to play along and have a good chuckle.
Egg him on so he will give outrageous replies.
Give raspberries to anyone who gives you guff about egging him on since you have as much right to do that as anyone has the right to pander to him.
Delete his comments to your own articles since they are rarely relevant to the topic.

Don't:
Take him seriously....ever!
Worry about others taking him seriously. I highly doubt anyone is doing anything but having a bit of fun.
Read his stuff if you are looking for legitimate information.

If you follow those few guidelines, it won't matter to you what he is doing. I think that some people currently love to love him and some love to hate him. None take him seriously and that is the fun of it.

Good day to you all.

oh maxwell, not a dream, but a nightmare. I'm sorry old boy, but you'll just have to put away your feelings for me , for I am with film fanatic, who appreciates my status as the leader of the cock lovers.

Oh no i won't be able to sleep tonight. I had a dream that we would put our differences (and your lesbianism) behind us and live happily ever after.

filmfanatic is a man and we've been together for quite some time.

Jolly good dear girl!

Here's what I agree with: Sir Peter is predictable. That's why I don't enjoy his stuff. I do, however, go to his blog and read the comments because they are written by unpredictable people, which always makes for some good fun!

There is no excuse for insulting a group of people, regardless whether serious or not.

I hope you've never been exposed to any humor more sophisticated than a knock-knock joke; you would have had a heart attack.

In any case, if you take offense at Sir Peter, GET OVER IT. IT'S A GODDAMN INTERNET SITE.

I have to say that if I like the humour on his own blog, I don't think it is really clever either funny to hunt other blogger. Anyways I think everybody take that too much seriously, At the end of the day, he is just provocative.
on Mar 01, 2004
He was totally provoking and Urban Faery, you walked right into it.

Tama, I didn't see the comments in question so taking it up with Brad & team is the best way to go. I don't know if a nonmember should be the one to post the complaint though. I can say this, the example you gave was not an attack. If you think that was hateful, you aren't very experienced. People have been removed from the site for writing threatening, hateful things so I have seen the real deal. But like I said, taking it up with Brad will be the way to go.

Sir Pete has egged people on by calling them peasants, telling them about his women who are always subserviant and cater to all of his "marital" needs. A knee jerk reaction is to get ticked off. That is exactly what he wants. He is like the DiceMan. He likes to see how far he can push the envelope.

Trinitie, I totally agree with you !

I think BulbousHead and Jilluser sum up it pretty well

I think there's a difference between "walking into it" and standing up for what I believe in. Making jokes attacking my character and demeaning women isn't all that funny. I'd much rather have a ten year old girl wander onto my site and learn to be proud of her body, than wander onto Maxwell's site and learn that she will only be 'kept' by a man if she if she obey's him and is only sexual when he wants her to be.

Hmm where do you draw the line? If you're nice guy in normal life and a bully or whatever in website posts, the line can easily become hard to find and you could change into the bully or whatever in "real life" side.

That would be the mean poster's problem, not the reader's.

JillUser, I realize that the statement I posted was not hateful. I was simply trying to show that the very first comment was not constructive or anything to do with the post really. I believe Urban Faery is going to launch the complaint and I am going to send a message with my experience. I think the thing that really got to me is that you all know what an asshole and impersonator Sir Max is. I, however, did not. Neither did Urban Faery or many of the other people that commented. I think if someone is going to write highly offensive things as a joke he should make it very clear that it's a joke. If you read the primary comments he made they were quite vicious and hateful, reading them as someone who knew nothing about this man (or boy or whatever) really actually hurt quite deeply. This is the first time I have been directly confronted with hatred towards me because I am a woman, and if he had backed down when he realized how hurtful it seemed to those who were following it things would have gone much better for everyone.

Urban-Faery and this anonymous user who keeps posting are truly pathetic, they are trying to censor what I say because it didn't go along with their views. You claim you were "directly confronted with hatred because you were a woman" which I find to be an absurd claim as I have always treated women with great respect. I have traditional views on the roles of men and women, whether you agree with me or not can you honestly say I am not allowed to express my opinion?

If you would have just said to me I disagree with you Peter and not tried to play the victim of a "hate crime" I would actually respect you but you seem to revel in being a martyr for all the oppressed women over the world. This is the internet and I am honestly struggling to understand how me disagreeing with a feminist viewpoint constitutes hatred against all women.

I imagine most people are sick of this pathetic argument so I will do them the courtesy of not commenting on it again, If you wish to complain to Brad Wardell about my conduct then so be it but I intend to carry on blogging on joeuser.com until I am told I am no longer welcome here.

Good day to you

Why get so defensive...???

Getting defensive is a sign of insecurity, And Sir Peter Maxwell being the astute business man he is, thrives on others insecurities...

so dont play up to them.

Who is worse? the instigator? or the fool allowing the instigation to take place??
