The adventures of Mommy woman
Funny and sweet

On date night with my husband last night, we saw "Elf". I loved it! I laughed so hard I had tears a couple of times. I am with kids all day every day so had an appreciation of how well Will Ferrell captured the innocent weirdness of a child. My husband didn't think it was as funny as I, but did say it was a "put a smile on your face" movie that would probably be a new classic.

If you are a sucker for the old Christmas classics like Rudolph, Frosty, and Santa Clause is Coming to Town, I think you will thoroughly enjoy this one.

OMG! I saw the previews for that at a movie that I went to with my husband. He has a warped sense of humor and was just cracking up watching the previews. I'll definitely have to go see that one. I have to take the kid to "Brother Bear" first, though, because she really wants to see it.

I heard warnings that "Brother Bear" actually had some pretty scary stuff in it. My guys want to see it too but their Dad refuses to take them. We plan to see "The Cat in the Hat" next Fri though.

Mildly amusing anyway.

Imdb.com gave it 7.4. I give it about an 8.5 overall, 9.5 if you are just talking that genre.
