The adventures of Mommy woman

I don't know if you have heard of it but Santa delivered a Stink Blaster to our home this Christmas and boy howdy does it live up to its name!  The thing shoots a blast of stinky air that you feel and smell simultaneously and the stink (similar to skunk) lasts way too long.

This fun gadget got banned to the basement which now smells like skunk every occasion one son sneak attacks the other.  We haven't had an attack lately which leads me to believe my husband hid the blaster.  The boys love it, my nose hates it.

haha, used to be it was the loud toys that were bad, now it's the stinky ones.

My boys wanted stink blasters for Christmas but Santa didn't get them any . . . sounds like he made a good decision.

Pseudosoldier showed us those things for sale online a week or so prior to Christmas.
I could think of no good reason to give those to a child who lives in the same house as me.
Now, perhaps if an Ex-spouse had custody

This think is both!

I think I will have to tell the boys that mommy and daddy will have to preapprove their Santa list from now on

There would be a good market for this thing with exes I think!

What the heck......? I thought you were kidding.....all I can say is that I'm glad my boys haven't heard of this thing.  Davey's room smells bad enough some days as it is (pre-teen boys have an odor to them, no matter how often they shower or change their bed linens) without some 'toy' adding to the stinkiness.

I don't blame your husband for hiding it.  I'd have done it too....

We have noticed our 8yr old has that pre-teen odor already!

I thought, at first, that it was because he wasn't washing himself properly.  Then, after I had eliminated that as being the problem, I thougt that it was because he wasn't keeping his room clean....so I started cleaning it with him, and even when he's showered, his linens are clean and his room is positively sterile there's still that 'boy' smell in there.

We're starting to notice it with our Jake (he's 8) too.  I asked D about it, and he said it's pretty common and that if I had ever been in a boy's locker room I'd know what he meant.

The closest I got was teaching pre-teens at vacation bible school a few years ago.  We had to split the boys up from the girls for one class, and oh boy!  ....walking into that room was like......well, I dunno what it was like but it was stinky, that's for sure.

I think that they ought to make one of these Stink Blasters called  'Pree-Teen Pete'.....

I pity you. I'll bring my new scented oil burner over.
