I recently read a piece online that detailed how a Rachel Ray ad for Dunkin Donuts was taken off the air after Michelle Malkin wrote about the scarf Ray wore in the ad. Malkin claimed it resembled a "kiffeyeh" which was worn by terrorists in hostage videos. Malkin also claims that Collin Farrell, Kanye West and Howard Dean have all been seen wearing similar scarves which she labeled "distinctive hate couture".
I used to enjoy Malkin's spunk on the O'Reilley Factor. She left the show after demanding an apology for something that transpired (I can't recall what). She never got the apology and never returned. I think she's lost her mind.
I think you have to be looking really hard at an iced coffee ad starring Rachel Ray to find "hate couture" and terrorist links. As for the men she mentioned, I'm willing to bet, as with Rachel Ray, some stylist told them it would look good so they wore it. Perhaps the stylists are the muslim terrorists! These poor celebs are just being used to forward the cause! (tongue planted firmly in cheek)
Perhaps a terrorist plot will be uncovered exposing Ray & Co. and I will have to eat my words. If such a thing comes to pass, I will personally apologize to Ms. Malkin profusely. Until then, I can't help but think she has gone paranoid and off her rocker.
