The adventures of Mommy woman

I usually have a heck of a time adjusting to losing an hour.  I don't mind "Falling Back" quite as much.  I was quite concerned how things would go with the baby but she's adjusting without a single problem.

My parents helped the time change go easy on me.  My hubby and I went on a date night Saturday so my parents stayed the night with the kids.  They wore the baby out and my mom had the brilliant idea to give her oatmeal in the evening so her tummy was nice and full which made her nice and sleepy.  I guess she slept through the night quite well and got up at about 7:30 happy as can be.  My wonderful parents got up with the kids and let me get an extra hour in bed...heaven!

We have to of those cool new clocks that set themselves.  How cool is that?!  At least we have those two clocks and two others that we never set back in the Fall that are on the correct time   Actually, we were pretty quick about getting all the clocks right except for the one in my car.

Now to get rid of the snow!!

Sometimes I envy those folks in Arizona -no pesky time change to worry about! (and not a whole lot of worries concerning snow, either!)

The hardest part for me is how dark it is in the am.  It's hard for me to get up when it's still so dark.

Last night I was so busy that I didn't even start dinner until 6:45. Just about an hour later than usual...how about that...lol.   I couldn't believe how light it was at that time and it totally threw my timing off for dinner.  I think quite often the light or lack of it helps us in our daily chores without our really noticing the time.  Then we have to adjust.

What was difficult for me is that I was still up at 2am on Sunday morning, then it became 3am and when I got up I was all bleary-eyed!  It wasn't too bad for us either!

Your mom = AWESOME.

For some reason Gavin was up early Sunday, so when his bedtime rolled around, he was more than ready for bed.

Of course now that I mention it...he'll have issues tonight. heh.
