The adventures of Mommy woman

I am a chronic sinus allergy sufferer.  I am pretty used to sinus pressure so I rarely notice it anymore until it is to the point of being a bad infection.  I woke up with a sore throat today and my left ear is aching.  I bet it is those darned sinuses!

The weather here in MI recently dropped from upper 80s to mid 60s so we put the heat on yesterday.  I don't know if it is the weather or if there is dust in the furnace but I suspect my sore throat is from sinus drainage.  I sure am hoping it isn't anything contagious since I am with my kids all the time and around neighbor kids a lot.

Does anyone out there suffer from this sort of affliction?  Does it sound like sinuses to you?

I can relate in every sense. I suffer from bad allergies and this time of the year is the worst. And it seems my 11-year old has been blessed/cursed with the same ailments. It is also cold season and as we sit here and suffer, we play the medication game trying to figure out if it is a cold or allergies. Unfortunately, I haven't been able to figure it out until it is too late. Once the ears start throbbing, it's a cold/infection and time for the Dr appt and warn all I've been around that they probably have it too. Child included. If you find out the secret to knowing, let me in on it please. Until then, good luck!
