The adventures of Mommy woman

Hi All!  Just so you know, I'm still around.  I just rarely have both hands free long enough to do anything other than the absolutely neccessary stuff like cooking, cleaning, etc.

Our baby girl is 7 weeks old now.  She is growing like crazy and is starting to goo and gah and smile.  Her nighttime sleep habits are still pretty random.  She is alert more during the day now so I'm hoping that will translate to more sleep at night.

The start of the new school year along with fall baseball has kept me very busy.  We have also had a lot of visitors for some reason (  ) and a lot of appointments.  Fall is kicking in now too so I'm starting to plan for my favorite time of year.  I love the apple orchards, pumpkin patch, Halloween and Thanksgiving!  The colors, smells and cool air have me feeling like baking already.

I hope you are all enjoying the football and cooler weather too.  I'll stop in and visit my JU friends more often once my little boss girl affords me a little more hands free time.

Dont worry about us Pirates! We will keep the light burning for you. Take care of that little girl! Most of us know about newborns. Having had a bunch ourselves!

So is that goo and gah and smiling, Brads, or your little girls?

This is a gorgeous time of year and after this summer's heat,  the cooler days and cool nights feel good!

Stop in when you can,  know how busy kids and life keep people!

Good to see you again

It's good to hear from you. I did wonder how everything was going with you. Newborn babies are so sweet. Her first smiles - how sweet. Are you taking tons of pictures and making scrapbook pages? I love the newborn stage and they just don't stay little long enough. My son is turning 13 and it just makes me sad. I miss when he was little. Unfortunately my baby days are behind me but I need a baby to cuddle and then hand back to mommy so she can change the diapers and get up with her at night. Enjoy it. You know from the boys how quickly it will pass.

Enjoy your fall too. In Texas we don't get the pretty leaf colors just one day you go out and everything is brown. Not near as much fun.

How about some more photos of the little sweet? How are her big brothers taking to her?
Posting the pics is Brad's department.  I will have to get on him about that since I have been taking pics.  Her brothers just can't get enough of her.  Alex seems to get the most smiles out of her.  I'm sure they will soon be teaching her all sorts of naughtiness

Good to see you again
Thanks!  I'm starting to feel like I might get my life back eventually.

mmmm send some this way!
The gang at Stardock is bound to receive some.  Just come by

So is that goo and gah and smiling, Brads, or your little girls?
Both!
