The adventures of Mommy woman

Well, for the most part we had a fun, relaxing time. Three weird coincidences happened: 1)Our next door neighbor ended up at the same hotel 2)I ran into a stylist from my salon and 3) I ran into a long lost friend that I grew up with. #3 was awesome!

On our way there, my 7yr old was complaining that the trip was taking a long time. He said "We have been driving a long time and we are still not there." I told my husband that he had obviously inherited his lack of patience. My husband said "Yep. He has my brain." My son then replied "No. I only have half!" That made me chuckle

My hubby still had to bring his laptop and keep track of what was going on business wise. It was hard to get him to just stop thinking for a couple of hours. We did get some beautiful weather so we did a lot of walking, shopping and ate at a couple of good restaurants.

The hotel made me appreciate home. The pools and fun center were great but the rooms sucked. The beds were sooooooooooo uncomfortable and the shower was the worst I have ever had. It didn't even get up to hot and was just a trickle....I hate low water pressure! I also like my shower to be steamy hot.

Our little guys were so cute together. We had to split them up at night until they fell asleep. As my 7yr old said, "He's too hyper with me to sleep." As soon as they were separated, they nodded right off and we relocated for the night. The poor little one fell out of bed in the wee hours this morning. He recovered quickly though.

So we are back. Tons of work ahead for us for the week. I sure did enjoy not cooking or cleaning for a couple of days! Back to reality
