Fun for kids and Brunch for everyone!

We hosted an Easter Egg Hunt last year and it ended up being so much fun we decided to make a tradition of it. Last year we started out with the idea of having a hunt for our boys and their cousin the day before Easter followed by a family brunch. I soon caught wind that other friends in the neighborhood didn't have plans for a hunt. Our city has one but it is huge and early. We are not patient or morning people

We invited the neighbor friends, they each brought 12 filled eggs per child and a dish for brunch. The kids had a blast and we got some great pictures and food out of the morning. My then 2yr old wasn't too interested until he saw that some of the eggs had chocolate in them. It should be bigger and better this year. We will have at least a dozen kids this time. That is at least 144 eggs to hide and find!

I highly recommend this to others. It is a good way of having quality time with some friends and family that you might not otherwise see over the Easter holiday. Who knows maybe we can even convince the Easter Bunny to show one of these days Happy hunting and don't forget your basket!

I just tallied the people who responded for our egg hunt.......24 adults and 24 kids! What did I get myself into?

Wish me luck and pray to keep the rain clouds away!

Thanks again dharma, I am hoping snickle boy doesn't get anyone else sick. I am sure he will be up for a few minutes of crazy egg hunting

Karma, I actually was selective! If I would have invited everyone we know from our neighborhood, we could easily quadruple that number. You don't realize how many people you know until you organize a get-together.
