The adventures of Mommy woman
Good Thriller

I just finished reading The DaVinci Code and really enjoyed it. I liken it to the Indiana Jones stories. I think if you like Indiana Jones, you will like this book.

That said, if you are defensive about your christian beliefs, you probably won't like this book. It is all about pagan origins of christian beliefs. Interesting stuff but some might find it very offensive.

This story has so many twists and turns! The characters are so interesting and the descriptions of European churches, museums and artwork keeps you riveted. Anyone who enjoys a good riddle will enjoy this story. It is one of those books that I enjoyed reading so much that I was sorry to finish it.

This book is wonderful reading.

I'm Christian, and reading this book has not changed my faith at all. In fact, I'd go as far as to say it strengthened it. If you can't read a FICTIONAL book without questioning your beliefs, then your faith isn't very strong, now is it?

The rebuttal book is, to me, just plain stupid. It's a fictional book! Why do you need to have a rebuttal?

My mom's Sunday school class read the DaVinci Code and read the rebuttal book, and all of the class members came to me to ask questions since I explained it in a way that was easier to understand... That or they all slept through Sunday school.

Angels and Demons is another great book. I give both a 10 out of 10, although I have to say I enjoyed DaVinci Code more than A&D.

When you use the A&D abbr. it kind of reminds me of AD&D. I'm a 4th level nerd with a +1 WordPerfect and a set of chainmail Internet Explorer browsers.

Fensty, how very clever of you!!

I will have to get a copy of A&D.  I find trivia about space, art, religion, etc quite fascinating so I am bound to enjoy all of his books.

Thanks all!
