The adventures of Mommy woman
This thing is awesome!

My wonderful husband knows that one of my few hobbies is scrapbooking.  We have a digital camera which is great but the pictures are usually held hostage on my hubby's computer and it seemed like every time I wanted to print one there would be a problem with my connection to the printer or Brad would be printing out some huge document for work.  So, during his last trip to Best Buy, he purchased a PhotoMate personal photo lab.  It is sooooo cool!

It was incredibly easy to set up and use!  If I could do it easily, anyone, and I mean anyone can do it.  You can do color, black & white, sepia, cropping, Disney frames, and all sorts of corrections right then and there and you don't need a computer!  You just plug your memory card in, select the picture, select any effects you want to do and print.  You could never tell one of the pictures from a professional lab picture.

So, my dearest love, thank you so very much for my new gadget!  I will be having some friends over to try it out and do some scrapbooking this weekend!

Wow, that sounds awesome Jill.

My wife, too, loves scrapbooking.  Since we got our digital camera, we take a lot more pictures, and then can be a little more picky when it comes to what we print off.  It has been handy.

It sounds like this will be a great tool/toy for you.  I tell ya, you and my wife should share ideas.  She loves scrapbooking (actually does workshops and such).  Enjoy it!

How fun! I'm addicted to scrapbooking and having a reliable printer makes a HUGE difference....although I know have my eyes on a wide format printer so I can crannk out 12x12 images and digital pages too!

I have a friend who is a Creative Memories consultant and that is how I got started. She has a complete store and workshop in her basement. It's any scrapbookers dream!

It only does 4x6 or smaller. For me, that is fine since that is what I use for scrapbooking. I can always use our computer and canon S900 for bigger pictures (or have my hubby do it ).

I don't know about how great an investment it will be but it sure is fun, easy and the pictures look great.

Wow! That can't be cheap. I've never even seen 12x12 photo paper. That would be awesome for scrapbooking!

How cool!

I have a Canon printer for my digital cam, and I like the convenience of it, but it's a hassle to try to find the ink and paper (and it's a tad bit expensive when I print a lot of photos...I've found it quite a bit cheaper to take the card into WM or upload them to WMs website and have them printed, especially since I can get different sizes). I'd love to have all the options you mentioned on a printer, though. Wow.

I looked it up at Best Buy, and I was surprised...it's actually very reasonably priced. I may have to put that at the top of my wish list.

Thanks for sharing about this! Glad you're enjoying your new toy.

You'll love it! I better stock up on paper and ink before the baby comes. I am sure we will be burning it up once the little bundle is here!
