Was searching the internet regarding Kerry's stance on Iraq since so many say he doesn't flip flop. I found this site and thought it was good for a chuckle

You could do the same with all the grammatical errors that Bush has made
In fact Bush has made a lot of contradictions and continues to do so.

I chuckle over the Bush stuff to. Geez psychx, defensive much? Just thought it was funny. BTW, changing your stance has nothing to do with grammar. What contradictions has he made just for interest sake?

Sorry just making a suggestion I really tried not to convey any preference for Bush or Kerry merely that they are both idiots.
As far as Bush contradicting himself there are plenty of things I can mention all one has to do is go online and google Bush contradictions sure enough it turns up plenty of info lets not forget his no child left behind policy that has taken a backseat in the trunk his violation of the Geneva conventions, weapons of mass destruction never being found when he and his administration assured us they existed. I could pull up facts but I really don't feel like it right now. Politicians tend to flip flop all the time I mean it's politics.

I wouldn't call Bush being mistaken about WMDs flip flopping. It's not as though he's saying the entire war is a mistake like Captain Flip Flop.

Poet, if you don't have something constructive to add, please don't comment.
I am not on either band wagon politically but I lean toward republican because I want as much power over my own money as possible. I am generally disgusted with the state of American politics right now. Part of this though is people being closed minded one way or another. I know a lot of republicans that laugh and joke about Bush. If both sides can't laugh rather than just constantly making excuses for their candidate, then where do we go from there? Is anyone really proud of their party right now? Even independents are bummed out because they know voting for Nader (if he makes it that far) is truly putting your vote in the garbage.
I do hope to learn more about Kerry. Just because I found "Captain Flip flop" funny doesn't mean I have ruled anything out.

Well it is a contradiction to say that there is definitely wmd's and that we have to do something as fast as we can and then later say that there aren't any wmd's and now Bush has no explanation just that he meant that Saddam had the ability to make and acquire wmd's.
and if it isn't a contradiction than it's a lie which one is worse?
I mean I can understand that you might be a conservative and like what Bush is doing but some of these things are blatantly wrong and if one can't see it than you are blind and easily swooned by the gov't.

Bush made a judgment call based on intelligence information. THAT is not flip-flopping.
What happened in 1941 in Pearl Harbor? Was intelligence information on Japan's military movements and motivations dead on accurate?
How about the Cuban Missile Crisis? There was plenty of information made available to JFK that would have prevented the scandal OR at least allowed him to make a move MONTHS prior to when he did. Why did Kennedy wait until last minute?
Both of these Presidents, JFK and FDR are considered great men, and excellent Presidents. But both dropped the ball. It happens. There is no perfect President.
At this point, neither of these things matter. It's very easy to play Monday morning quarterback; the problem with Kerry is that he has (throughout his entire tenor in the Senate, spanning more then two decade) continually played Monday morning quarterback on every issue (even his own). Yet rarely does Kerry have a solution to move forward. He's putting on a good front for this Presidential Campaign. He has convinced democrats that he actually has ideas and solutions, and has his whole life.
The fact is, if Kerry is so good at coming up with solutions, were is his name on countless pieces of legislation? After two decades, you'd think his name would be all over the place, bills and proposals and such. After two decades in the Senate, you'd think that you would have risen up to be a leader in your party. Less than a year ago, most people, when asked about John Kerry, would have responded, "John who?"
