The adventures of Mommy woman

I have seen the word "perfect" in the title of a lot of blogs today: Perfect life, perfect blogger, perfect country, etc.  I tend to believe that "perfect" can't exist except on a personal level.  You can say your spouse is "perfect for you" but they can't be perfect in general because everyone has different, tastes, needs, interests.

You have to put down a lot of qualifications to meet before declaring something perfect.  What is a perfect life for instance?  Some might say not having to do anything at all and others might say having something to do all the time.  I tend to think that if you think something is perfect you are either just too happy to care about any imperfections or are just not considering the possibility of imperfections.

So you think perfection exists?  Your answer might say a lot about you.

Call me names because I have a differing view on the subject.

Those aren't names, those are traits I suspect you posess. If you think I am calling you names, you have a very thin skin my friend. You were pointing out the definition of "perfection" and I was blogging about the concept. You gave no attention to my point in your response so that lead me to believe you weren't taking the subject in the spirit it was intended. That is all. No ill will was meant.

Hey there NickyG! How's it goin'? I like the 30 Day Guarantee

Every thing is cool... and the thirty day guarantee is the extent of my commitment level! It's good to see you out and about on Joeuser more. I know things get busy with home/family and just plain old life, but that's no excuse to not blog more often!

I agree. I actually find I feel sharper intellect wise when I am spending some time reading and writing blogs. Does it count as exercise? Cuz exercise is what I really should spend my time doing!

"Perfect" is a state of mind, and it varies greatly from one person to another. I wouldn't change much in my life, for instance, so it's about as close to "perfect" as it gets, even though I have my moments of confusion, doubt, frustration, anger, and every other emotion possible.

Yes, perfect exists...it's all in our perception.

Watching TV, you may have seen a Walgreens commercial in which this line is stated:

"Life isn't perfect, but Walgreens is close."

Is it me or does that just piss you off?...Their arrogance is the sole reason I hate Walgreens.

Everyone has their favorite commercial, and their favorite one to hate.  I am so use to zoning them out, I rarely hear what they are saying.
